Title: Applications of non-perturbative methods to hadron systems and heavy ion collisions

Abstract:
In this talk I will discuss our recent studies on different two and three hadron systems using effective field theories and the QCD sum rules calculations. I will also show some applications of effective field theories in determining the abundance of hadron resonances from heavy ion collisions.
