In this talk, I will present some of our results concerning the weak decay rates related to the astrophysical process especially the rapid neutron capture (r-) process. I will introduce general formalisms for these calculations and the application of these rates on the astrophysical simulations. The two mostly used models for this calculation are Shell Model and QRPA methods, I will compare the two models and show their advantages and disadvantages.

房棟梁博士,2004年本科畢業于浙江大學物理學系，2007年獲得浙江大學物理學碩士學位。2008年赴德國圖賓根大學攻讀理論物理博士學位，師從Amand Faessler教授。2011年于德國圖賓根大學獲得博士學位，并于同年赴美國密歇根州立大學國家超導回旋加速器實驗室和核天體物理聯合研究所從事博士後研究。2014年11月起受聘吉林大學beat365英国官网网站。研究方向主要為原子核結構理論和相關應用，包括運用殼模型和QRPA進行無中微子雙貝塔衰變矩陣元的計算以及中微子的性質的研究，豐中子核的性質及其半衰期的計算，天體r過程等重要過程的模拟等。
